After leaving DM, I spent 2 years at U of I studying Ophthalmology. Worked for a short time at Wolf Eye Clinic in Marshalltown, then moved to Connecticut in 1973 & worked at Yale New Haven Hospital.

In 1975 I spent the summer traveling & camping across Canada & the USA then settled in San Francisco.

I traveled to Israel & Europe for 2 months in 1982. In 1990 I left the country again working with the Jewish Film Festival in Moscow & Leningrad. Then explored Finland & Sweden, before returning to California.

I worked as an Ophthalmic Tech until my daughter was born in 1993. Then opened a Judaica Gift & Invitation business, and recently joined the nonprofit MedicAlert Foundation.
