One day I was at a Golf tourament with my husband here in CF. At the dinner afterwards they announced the Golf Pro at a nearby Waterloo golf course as Skip Holton. I knew there could not be two Skip Holtons. I went to find him and after 15 years we did still recognize each other! AND lived in the same town . We had bookkeeping class together and he stiil said he wouldn't have gotten through it without me. He hired my son to work at the golf course when he was 14 and he worked with Skip until he graduated from high school. For that I will always be grateful.
I always encouraged him to come to reunions which he wanted to attend but The Waterloo Open usually landed on the same weekend. He did however get to see my photos and the video that Andy made .Anyone remember the East Bball game senior year?? He was a feisty one!!!

Or the time playing Lincoln High in basketball he finally had enough and while they were shooting a free throw he left the line and walked up and punched one of their players.  Skip in those short jeans and fast car always seemed to make an impact whereever he went . Lots of great memories and miss him
